just had to chime in here that GZDoom dose support normal/specular maps as well as pbr mats just the main downside is that you need dynamic lights to see it all.
Since 'nature'-based textures of mine don't come out good, I've switched to tech ones. Textures made by Reinchard from Doomworld for his Doom PBR materials pack inspired me, and I used his work with his permission to produce some new and to improve some existing DHTP textures.
