Lastest Doom 2 wad from Steam dated 10/2024 doesn't work for me (LMDE 6)
So I bought the Steam version of Doom+Doom II and I can't get the doom2.wad to work. I tried iwadpatcher 1.2 but the wad is too recent. Copied over the wads to my Linux install of Doomsday, but no dice for Doom II (Linux Mint Debian Edition 6). From the Doomwiki page: Still looking for a solution. Doom works just fine… -
MacOS 15.4 breaks v.2.3.1, 2.3.2
I was tooling along blissfully blasting ghouls, and then I upgraded MacOS to 15.4. Now, v. 2.3.1 crashes the machine. I am sad. Anyone know what the deal is here? v. 2.3.2 crashes as well -

Doomsday crashes on game launch since upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04LTS
Doomsday worked fine under Ubuntu 22.04LTS, but since upgrading to 24.04LTS it crashes every time I attempt to launch a game (Doom, Doom2, Hexen or Heretic). It doesn't matter whether I'm using Xorg or Wayland. What information can I provide to help you diagnose what is happening? -

What is Snowberry?
Isn't this part of the Doomsday launcher? The reason I ask is because some Doomsday engine mods say to add to the Snowberry folder, but I do not have one.
