Doomsday works perfectly on Xorg, but not in Wayland.

    try use the doomsday flatpak release, that got it working for me

    If you use the release build, than it uses Xorg specific code that crash on wayland. Either build from latest git source or run doomsday with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb environment variable.
