bug: please update config in realtime

Hello,

yesterday late in the night I configured all my Doom-like games in Doomsday.
When I closed Doomsday, it crashes (core dumped).
At next launch, I losed all my modifications, paths, packs...
Doomsday records config only at exit?

    Yes, most config values are written at shutdown. Which operating system and version of Doomsday are you running?

    It would be possible to periodically update the config files at runtime. I think it would be a good idea to do so, I'll add it to my todo list.

    Linux Ubuntu - Doomsday last unstable version.
