STARTUP PROBLEM!!!

Hi, im new here at the fourms and I was wondering if anyone can help me. I just installed the new doomsday engine (190.67 i believe) and whenever I start any game, it loads up and there is a little circle about a quarter full of these weird bean looking things in the bottom left of the screen, and the game doesn't actually play. I have tried experimenting with the graphics and different WADs, but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone please help? I have been really looking foward to this release!.

P.S. Is there a place where I can find an automatic addon installer? Manually doing it can be glitchy. Thanks.

    Windows does not have a good way to automatically install things like that.

    Post the conetnets of the doomsday.out file please, it can be found under doomsday/snowberry/runtime

    Check your Iwads are completely unmodified.

    In the past, I accidently "cleaned up" my Heretic Iwad in XWE (XWE foolishly cleans a wad even if you only extract something from it) and Dday 1.9 Beta x.x would freeze during startup with the wheel only getting a quarter of the way around, when I tried to use it with Dday.

    Fortunetly I was able to just reinstall the Iwad from my Heretic CD.

    It looks like you installed over the top of a much older version of Doomsday. First, lets try deleting your old cfg files, which (by default) are to be found in your runtime directory (the same place you found doomsday.out).

    P.S. Where is the sitter's and abb's pack, I remember an older vesion of jdoom having it + how do I install high quality SFX ?
