Debian Bug?
Hi everyone,
I just tried to install Doomsday under Debian 64 Testing and Debian 64 Sid and I always get this message:
For Debian Testing I used this repo
For Debian Sid I used the Debian repository
Is this a bug or is me that I am doing something wrong?
Could someone help me out to install it?
Bye and thank you very much.

Try uninstalling doomsday and then install it again
Nothing....
I still get the same error....At this point I am going to reload a cloned image of my OS and try it again.
Bye and thank you
If you download a .deb from our sourceforge page, it will contain an apt .list file providing you automatic updates from the deng team repo.
Sorry for the late reply...
In the end, I was able to install everything from deb http://code.iki.fi/builds/apt stable main
I just wished that this rep was easier to find.. It took me some time
Would it be possible to have the rep in http://dengine.net/linux ?
Beside this, everything seems to work except for the 3 things (bugs?)
1- If I add tnt-remix-lorcan-20071225.pk3 in my Addon forder and I launch Snowberry and I go to the Addons tab, I get the following error.
2- When I load the file pk-doom-sfx-20100109.pk3 and I start any Doom, as soon as I press enter to start playing, the game crashes (any Doom)
3- The slide-finaldoom-tntevilution-sky2 is not loaded corretly... To test it, just play Final Doom TNT Evolution and type idclev 12. After you open the door, look up in the sky at your right and you will see a white texture.
One more thing, is it normal that in Final Doom TNT Evolution and Final Doom Plutonia there is no music?
Bye and thank you for helping me out.
It is not in the Linux download page as I have been advised in the past that if some things are compiled for Ubuntu that they might not work in Debian.
Kees is working on updating his repo/get the recent stable build of doomsday into the Debian and therefore Ubuntu repositories.
What about the issues that I am having with Snowberry? Are those bugs or something else?
Bye
Snowberry has been known to have problems with Unicode...
