Very good. I installed it and replaced the old one, and I assume there are no bugs and therefore no reason to keep the old pack around.

Okay I have cut it out and ended up with 3 resolutions:
1024x768 (1,24MB)
1152x864 (1,52MB)
1280x1024(2,08MB)

I've just realised that this is the box art version and the title screen was different. I don't have a high-quality version of the game-screen logo anyway .

Not really. I've had a bash at it, but I'm not happy with the quality. It's not a straight cut-paste and tweak job. I'd have to repaint the logo and the jem and I don't have time to do that now. Sorry.

Whats wrong with the existing ones? Now, I've nothing against people improving on the resources however it seems somewhat of a shame when there are those which haven't even been tackled once.

I hadn't known the name of the artist before, and I handn't known that he did the D2 and Heretic artwork. I just love that painting.

I'm not really seeing how the logo that you linked to is really that different from the one you are describing.

Yeah his Name was Gerald Brom, and he did 3 Game Covers as far as I know:
Doom2, Heretic and Diablo2
