1 weird bug and few questions

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGLlRBZbtWo recorded by me, it seems that switches work but their animation and sounds not (now that i played more almost non of them animates and makes the sound)

Other thing is and this is a strange one.

I didn't had problem with earlier versions of Doomsday but the recent betas don't work in folders with big names (or maybe it's because of space), for example i have all of my Doom games installed in a location of "D:\Complete Doom" and i wanted to add Doomsday folder there so it looked like that "D:\Complete Doom\Doomsday\" no matter what i did when launched it was insta-freeze (didn't checked the Current 374 in that setting) so im using right now a "D:\Doomsday" folder and so far it works well.

And here is a question since i can't get it to work anymore (worked pretty good, though custom enemies we're glitchy)

Did you removed any kind of Boom compatibility in the 1.9.7 test builds? Sure in 1.9.0 Betas it was buggy but some of the boom maps we're playable, right now whenever i select a new game and start it (using Scythe2.wad to be precise), the engine simply crashes to Windows.

  • There is no specific issue with Scythe2, it in fact works fine with Build 374 when placed in the /auto directory. The issue you are most likely having is that you are loading it from within Snowberry, which is a known issue in the current release (i.e., the -file argument is interpreted too late and the addon's content is loaded out-of-order, resulting in an invalid engine state).

As for the file path issue, I would urge you to try again with the current Build 374. I personally install Doomsday to Window's Program Files (x86) directory, which clearly contains multiple spaces, and it works just fine for me from this location.
  • I tried installing it to my doom folder, i forget to mention i had it in "D:\Games\Complete Doom\Doomsday" forgot to add games before complete doom and yes newer version at least crashes, if you can tell me where Doomsday makes some kind of log i can upload it. As for Scythe2 i will try that autofolder method and see what i get.

Edit: It's working from "D:\Games\Doomsday\" but whenever i install it to Complete Doom folder it simply crashes at the start
Edit2: Scythe2 works fine from the auto folder, though custom monster is glitched i mean the one you can see on map30 for example, it's supposed to be some mix of Baron and Ifrit shooting Revenant Rockets and Mancubus Fireballs but right now it sometimes shows the frame of the true monster and rest it just mostly Commander Keen and Cacodemon
