Strange movement at walls

I tried this in Heretic and Doom 2. When you walk against a wall (not completely perpendicular), at some places the wall breaks your movement for no reason. In some places, it completely stops the player.

Comments

  • This is a known issue in the wall sliding logic which hasn't worked the same since the move to floating point. It will be addressed in a future release.
  • In my case i end up inside the walls and can't get out of the walls (but i can move freely inside them), it leaves me no choice but to use the cliping mode to get out. :P
    this happens to me in DOOM and DOOM2
