.DMD & .PCX Files

Hi.

What programs would i need to be able to open\edit and save in a different format these files?
Photoshop CS5 just throws an error and when i try some other programs the results are bad.

well dmd's are just a convert of the md2 file format so that you can have more poly's there is a tool to do that but i have no idea where it is and the tool is old but it work. now for pcx do not use it just use png or tga as pcx is old and outdated only use pcx if it requires something then use either png or tga.
