Bunch of Doomsday questions...

I just discovered Doomsday and I can't stop playing. Fortune, fame, mirror vain, Gone insane but the memory remains!
But I have couple of questions
- Kick program hides itself automatically, and I have to restore in in Windows 7 and then run it. Any chance to fix it?
- Is there a way to input cheat codes in options menu? How? Does regular codes still work in it? (Didn't even check...)
- Is there any way to play Wolfenstein 3d remake on it? Did anyone make wad with Wallenstein episodes?
I try to make it run this mod Half Life 2 Deathmatch Doom + Quake + Wolf3d

What's the point? If you just need to go into god mode, open console and type: "cheat iddqd", without quotes. Likewise with other cheat codes.

Well, this is a Half-Life 2 mod. You need Half-Life 2 to run it, not Doomsday.

I know that I need hal Life 2 for that. But how to install it.
I'm suprised that nobody modify Wallenstein for Doomsday. That would be great.
What about Kick.exe? How to make it not minimizing itself?

I tried codes but they have no effect at all. Am I doing something wrong?
(pressing ` and entering IDDQD in doom 2). Also, how to access a map during a game?

wow you are doing something wrong standard doom codes do not use the console and to see the auto map press tab

I have Q bound to "Open chat" so entering "iddqd" doesn't work. so I use the console you need to enter cheats there precended by "cheat " (with space) and lowercase, but most have equivalents, for example, the console command "god".

In Doom (and hence Dday), to enter the original cheat codes, you don't have to open chat or enter them in the console; you just type them.

Dday's own cheats codes are entered in the console however.

However, in recent versions of Dday, the mp chat options were made accessible in single player and their control binds interfere with entering the cheats, so you may have to rebind them.

So what is the full list of codes. Now I tried "god" and it worked out.
