Prepping for Beta6.4

It's that time of the month again, so we should start preparing for the Beta6.4 release. Let's spend the remaining couple of days making sure everything works right?

I've been working on the current issues with DeHackED patch support and should have a patch ready for svn tomorrow (I just need to spend some time putting my changes to the test first).
Other than that there are a few other bugs in the tracker which I think should be looked at for this release:

Earlier this week I dropped that ATI videocard I mentioned into my dev system but as yet I've not looked at the middle texture issue. I plan to spend some time on this tomorrow.
EDIT: The Hexen savegame issue and the slow strafing are now fixed.
The patch I mentioned in my previous post is still awaiting testing and I doubt it will reach svn until late this evening at the earliest.
Just commited to svn rev #6756 which fixes this:

I'll take a look at the remaining two items I listed above after lunch. As for the "midbars vs ATI" problem I'll have a look at it but unless it is something obvious, is now probably too late to resolve in the 1.9.0-beta4 release.
As to the ATI issue, if it's something that can be taken care of in a day or two then I'm fine with holding the release until then. I think Sunday is the ultimate deadline for the release, though.
I already created the 1.9.0-beta6.4 release on SF.net so now we can just upload the files and add them to the release.
I'll prepare and upload the Win32 release package after dinner (spicy chicken pizza with salad).
EDIT: It appears that it's no longer needed to manually update the platform download page, as the beta6.4 OS X release now correctly shows up in the green download button.
However I'm currently stuggling with the admin interface at SourceForge not letting me select it as the primary download package for the Windows platform. I'm about to retry with IE instead.
EDIT: Nope, its not working in IE either. Can you see if you are able to change the primary download for the Windows platform skyjake? All I'm being given the option of are a couple of the files from the Resources packages.
Thus far my impression of the new look sourceforge files area is not great
Yeah, the Download Page setup seems broken. Maybe they intend to discontinue it, given that apparently the platform-specific download page is no longer available. I think it's supposed to guess which file to offer on the Summary page based on some autodetection thingy.
EDIT: Also SF.net is throwing up Error 500 quite a lot...
