Probably forum would be better than blog for the following,
but:
1. In the sources, there a note about old plans
of moving from lzss to zlib. Were they dropped ?
2. While I don't know Portuguese, I can tell snowberry's
Portuguese translation got messed up (not recently).
I think it was initially latin1, but was converted to utf8
as mac-roman. I was able to recover most of the original content,
except for the chars that got replaced by question signs.
3. Finally, a question. What are the chances of doomsday getting
a Strife module within next two years? That seem to be the final shortcoming when compared to vavoom.
I played with snowberry a bit. It seems to work fine with
wxpython 2.8 (Unicode build).
