Wolfendoom Original missions error

I get an error when i try to launch wolfedoom the original missions.. it worked on an older version of doomsday, but I cant remember how I fixed it. :( Any help?

  • I think it's because Doomsday doesn't really support DeHacked files very well. Regardless, Woflendoom was made specifically for either BooM or MBF port back then. Luckily, there is a Wolfendoom converted to a Doomsday .box format done by Reilsss.

    I think it's incomplete though - not sure if it's every single episode but it doesnt look like it :(
  • The problem with the WolfenDoom mods is the way they have been packaged. I don't recall the exact problem but it involved modifying the WolfenDoom WAD files (not a problem in Doomsday per-say).
  • I remember that the later Wolfendoom episodes had their own modified ports of Boom or MBF, but I didn't realize this was about the original missions.

    In 1.8.6 the very original ones worked - but they had visual-only bugs [roof lamps being on the floor] and the bosses not dropping keys as I said, I think that was an unsupported DEH feature maybe.

    Regardless, the converted ones from the link above load fine in the latest Doomsday for me.
