I cannot activate Doomsday on my computer. The most I get is, "Shareware Doom requires DOOM1.WAD to run. KickStart doesn't know the location of the IWAD file. A search will be performed." What do I do after this? Does anyone know, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

    Doomsday requires a Wad (an Iwad) file from one of the original games or shareware versions, to function.

    Kickstart by default expects to find the Iwad in Data/Jxxxx (substitute xxxx with the game you are trying to load). If it doesn't find one there, it will try to find an Iwad on your computer to copy to there; if you have a big hard drive, it could take a while.
