Anyone have 1.8.6. for Mac? Beta 1.9 won't work for coop

So I am on a PC, my roommate owns a Macintosh. I downloaded Doomsday and got it set up on the Mac but he cannot connect to my games. I found out netplay doesn't work for the 1.9 betas

Anyone have 1.8.6 or another version where the netplay works for the mac?
