Yellow Coding on screen for Doomsday 1.8.6

Hi, couldn't resolve some problems with the beta I was having (1.9.) so I decided to go with stable 1.8 but I have an annoying problem. Whenever I start it I have this yellow code garbage on the screen:

How do I get rid of it? Changing my screen resolution doesn't work.

Here's my spec:

Windows 7 OS
DDR5 512MB ATi Radeon 4800 Graphics Card

Also had the same problem on Vista.

    For some reason the sound info, debug display has been turned on. Open the console and enter the following to disable it: 
    sound-info 0
