No game launches, no doomsday.out file

Hi all,

I just got Doomsday 1.9.0-beta6.9 and am trying to get Ultimate Doom to work. I point it to my WAD and hit Play. I see the text "Launching" but after a few moments nothing happens and no games load. Hexen gives the same problem. I know the WADs are good as the original games do work. There is no doomsday.out in the Snowberry runtime folder.

Does anyone know what might be going on?

    whats your system specs as that might cause the problem but i have not seen this before.

    It's not anything too exotic, and should easily meet the requirements:

    Motherboard : Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 CrossFire Chipset LGA775 FSB1600

    it should work, now it could be a faulty dday install. other then reinstalling it i do not know what you can do.
