Animation Sequences in 1.9.0-beta6.9 engine
A Question please ... I also would like to include with any animation sequences in my project but I always got any error messages in the 1.9.0-beta6.9 engine.
The message reads: "bad cycle between slime01 and slime04" What does it mean? I also tried the animations in the 1.8.6 engine but they all worked there.
I created a new external wad-file with more flat textures into it for smoother animations and of course the defintion you need. If I take back all slime animations in the
1.9.0-beta6.9 engine the other seems to working so the nukage animation for example. The animation sequenses have 16 files.

Doomsday 1.8.6 handles these incorrectly.
If you want to "smooth out an existing animation" then the correct way to do it is to duplicate the start/end lumps/defs of the animation in you're PWAD and then add any new new frames between the two.
Animated sequences defined using Doomsday's own Anim Group sequences however are not restricted in that way.
