Would SomeOne Please Tell me the Difference

Doomsday is Great!! i've been using it for a couple of years now.
But i am confused on what the difference is between Heretic and Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
The CD i bought way back when.. when the game was released is Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
i looked on Raven.com.. the one they have online is Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
So what, where, how... is Heretic??

NO!!!.. i am NOT asking for the WAD file.
Actually.. i own a copy of all the games supported by the DoomsDay Engine.
Except for Heretic.. i own Shadow of the Serpent Riders.
i just don't understand where just Plain Heretic comes from.

Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders is v1.3 of Heretic. It added 2 new episodes to Heretic, like Ultimate Doom added an episode to registered Doom.

the hidden lvl is present in v1.3. just had a look see.
