Major crash problem with latest beta

Ive got the latest version of the engine (1.9.0-beta6.9)

It was working fine till a few days ago. The problems started with the teleporter issue in Hexen, which i have noticed other people on these forums have been facing. But now it has expanded to the whole application. I can open up the frontend, and play any and all Doom games, plus Heretic, but when i go to run Hexen, the engine crashes without even loading the main menu screen. I dont know why because it was working fine a few days ago and has slowly gotten worse. Ive tried it with a different copy of the WAD but it still gives the same problem.

  • Doomsday isn't crashing, its shutting down because by the looks of things you aren't telling it where your hexen.wad is.
  • ah, i re-did the file pathway in the settings tab and it works now! dont know why it stopped working though, i havent changed the file pathways at all, it just suddenly stopped working.

    i can play the game now but still suffer from the 'crash when going through certain portals' problem.
