Hexen: PNAMES not found (1.8.6)

edited 2010 Jul 10 in Technical Support
Trying to get Hexen to work in 1.8.6 version and keep receiving the error message "Pnames not Found!". I've had Hexen and its expansion working before with this version of Doomsday on another computer.

  • How are you specifying the location of your Hexen.wad? It looks to me like you are using the -file argument for an IWAD when you should be using -iwad
  • I did specify the location of the wad. Even did a re-install of Dday to be safe. I also just installed on my laptop the exact same way and it works. I'll try to move the wad from the laptop maybe later and see if it works.

I also with any of the beta it just locks up so maybe a bad wad?
