How to change the gravity setting in the latest dengine?

My buddy and I have been unsuccessfully trying to find an answer to this question.

Is there a command line option to adjust the gravity setting in Doom single player?

    Presently it is not possible to alter the gravity in single player. That is only possible for multiplayer using the cvar server-game-mod-gravity.

    There is no good reason for this restriction however, so I'll make it available in single player too for the next release.
