Silent crash on splash screen.

I want to test all Doom source port engines for a project, and Doomsday.exe is the only one that resolutely refuses to run on any of my systems since I moved from XP to Seven. I tried it on all my systems, and on all of them, it crashes on the splash screen.

Is Doomsday.exe compiled against OpenGL?

There are off-forum instructions that say "To find the crash log, click :hamburger-logo: , but I can't get to the main menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

My current system:
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
AMD RTX 6700 10 GB VRAM
16 GB RAM

    Try removing old DE settings folder (somewhere in %HOME%/appdata, check roaming, local and local low folders).
