Hey guys,

This is directed to anyone who can answer me.

Does anyone know where I can get the WAD file for doom to use on Doomsday?

I bought the steam version of it if that makes a difference. (I know the steam file doesn't work on here).

    Which doom game are you referring? I got my WADs from steam and they work fine.

    On steam you might get modified doom 2 game. Original dos game files instead of Doom.wad file.

    This may not be relevant to you anymore but I don't think steam modifies the .wad files, I think they pop the .exe file so it will work with their system (dosbox and all). I also have the steam version of these games. I don't even try to play it in steam. I play them (Doom, Heretic, Hexen) directly through Doomsday so I can have all the pretties and not the pixels.
