Add-Ons

Is there some particular reason why the Add-ons link is redirected to a page stating "The download archive is currently unavailable due to excessive use." ?

Can someone please fix this? Thanks!

I asked this as well, they are aware of this and are fixing it.
Another user Reg has put alot of add-ons in torrents and we are both seeding the packs, you can get them from this topic viewtopic.php?f=9&t=284

We can't continue providing them for download because the demand for them completely outstrips the bandwidth we have available.

So other than the torrents, which I will try, how do we download the add-on packs? Can the files be found from other sites? It would be nice if the add-on page was reposted, without active links, so I could determine what I'm missing, and then try to search for the on the internet.

The DHTP isn't hosted on files.dengine.net, so link to it should be on the addons page, IMHO.

As far as I know, the idea is that everyone should forget the site files.dengine.net and instead direct their friends and whatnot to http://dengine.net/dew/index.php?title=Addons any of us with a Wiki account can keep that place up to date as the addon situation seatles down.
