Remove Rocket Smoketrails

While I love all the effects added to the rockets I would love a command to disable the rocket smoketrails.
The most makes it impossible to see.
Another option might be to be able to change the smoketrail value so there is way less smoke.

Is there a command for this already?

    There is no command for that at present. Doom's "particles.ded" definitions file defines a bunch of effects, including the rocket trails, that can all be disabled with the "-nodefaultfx" command line option. (That is, it can only be applied when launching the doomsday executable, not at runtime.)

    If you do use that option, one possibility is to then make a customized particles.ded without the effects you'd like to get rid of.
