Resource packs on BitTorrent?

Since files.dengine.net is still unavailable, I've decided to try & distribute the resource packs over BitTorrent. This is my first attempt to distribute something.

Nice, thanks for sharing.

Im currently downloading from you but only with a speed of 1-2 kb/s.
But im not in a hurry so ill keep Utorrent running for a couple of days, and when im done I will continue seeding myself.

Stopped all other torrent jobs. The overall speed should be ~8-10 kb/s. Also between 23:00 and 5:00 GMT my upload speed could be ~40 kb/s, so your download should complete overnight.

Anything you can share with bittorent would be most appreciated.
I already downloaded Jdrp package, both of them and im seeding them now.
And I see you have added even more torrents, nice.
I will activate the new torrents in my Utorrent and it will download whenever you start seeding again, once again im not in a rush so seed whenever you feel like it.

I have a small question about the Jdrp package, you discribe that the aplha 1.1 does not contain all the models yet, and the older 2007 version does, does that mean I have to activate both of them so that the models that are not in the alpha 1.1 will be used by the older 2007 or can I only choose 1 of them in case of incompatibility?

I am really glad to see the community getting involved and seeding torrents for Doomsday addons. The demand for these was such that we exhausted our bandwidth quota for the month in less than a week when we attempted to serve them from our web host (heh).

What I would like to see now is that files.dengine.net becomes the official Doomsday package tracker and anyone who seeds a Doomsday related addon would be able to add it to that tracker (deng team will evaluate any packages prior to listing).

But I don't recommend you run the executables. Just extract them (they are RAR SFX arcives, mostly.)

Nice, I got the Hexen add-ons as well, seems I got about everything now that makes the game look much better (in my opinion that is)

I was just wondering if there is a Texture pack for Doom as well?
I got the new models and effects and I think I can remember that about 2 years ago I also had a pack that improve the textures from doom (Walls, floors, etc.)

And I see that there are more and more people are downloading the packages now.

Thanks to all that have allowed distribution of the add-ons via torrent.

Are the files listed above all of the add-ons from the now unavailable webpage? If not, what is missing?

AFAIR, Missing are:
Heretic music pack (by Sycraft, IIRC)
Plutonia music definitions (maybe)
Doom 1 & 2 Lorcбn's soundtrack remixes
jDEP skyboxes
and probably something else.

Concerning music, it might be worth mentioning that music packs for all Doomsday games can also be gotten from http://sycraft.org/index.shtml (Reg already mentioned Heretic music from sycraft)
The music packs can be downloaded from his site without Torrents.

Although I must warn people that this music he re-mixed in high quality often sound a bit or a lot different then the original, I personally like his music but some music in lvl's sound a bit too different from the original for my taste.
So you may want to stick to the original HQ music packs, but sycraft is certainly worth a try.

sorry im still new to doomsday engine but i just wanted to know if anyone had that one fancy high-res pack i've been seeing via on youtube or where i can find it? i have a high-res pack already but for some reason i wasnt fully satisfied when i saw that one it was beautiful... (

are there any WAV doom music releases ?
and what about higher resolution textures ?
I'd like 2048x2048 walls etc, is there anywhere I can find the source of all the texture packs (both for models and walls) ?
