Black Screen on Windows 10?/Screenshot Saving Error

I did the Windows 10 upgrade on my computer last week. I tried out a Doomsday 2.0 unstable build (same build, 1994, that I had on Windows 7), and upon launching, all I get is a black screen with a mouse. Clicking anywhere will cause a popup to come up and say that Doomsday isn't responding. I've tried throwing Doomsday into Windows 7 Compatibility Mode. It still gets the black screen, but it doesn't hang either. Eventually I tried an uninstall of Doomsday and a reinstall with the latest build, but it still happens.

Also, when I tried using Doomsday 2.0 last week, I had a problem saving screenshots. Each screenshot was saving with "000" at the end, so only one screenshot was being saved, and whatever the latest screenshot I took would be the one that would show up. No 001, 002, etc. Don't know if this has happened to anyone else.

Thanks.

  • For an update, this only happens on whatever 64-bit build I download. I loaded up a 32-bit build and it launched fine.

    Thanks.
