Where should we post questions related to v2.0 testing?
I'm wondering how to make it load the Heretic .pk3 package.

Posting here is fine.
The 2.0 GUI hasn't yet been updated to support loading of .pk3 packages. You can load them via the console prompt ("load filename.pk3"), or with Windows command line options ("Doomsday.exe -file filename.pk3").
