Doomsday 1.15, causes the computer to stop responding

edited 2015 Jun 30 in Technical Support
Since upgrading to 1.15, I've noticed that when Doomsday Engine launched with multiple other applications (Especially several Dosbox process for DOS games), my computer getting slow or stop responding, sometimes requiring a hard reset.
This wasn't occured with version 1.14.5 of Doomsday.
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L rev 1.0
CPU: Intel Pentium DualCore E5400 2700MHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220

  • How's your RAM? Are all the running processing eating up all your available memory? You should use the Task Manager to inspect what's actually using all the CPU and/or memory.
  • I've 4GB DDR3 RAM. Windows 7 SP1 32bit. All Dosbox process, consumes ~5300K, and almost don't consumes CPU, so I think that Doomsday 1.15, put more stress on the system than 1.14.5. There were two times that my computer locked, when multiple Dosbox process operated together with Doomsay 1.5, so I had to reset my computer. With Doomsday 1.14.5, only individual (Usually one) Dosbox process stops responding sometimes, and the system wasn't affected at all.
