Add a scroll bar to taskbar menus?

Is it possible to add a scroll bar to the taskbar menus (as on the renderer appearance menu) when they don't fit on the screen?

Just so users realize they can scroll them and that they aren't cut off.

It is possible, yes. The widget that implements all scrollable areas supports a scroll indicator, so all scrollable widgets can use it.

This has not been done so far because the idea has been to introduce a small-font UI style when the resolution/window is low — usually the taskbar menus will have enough room not to require scrolling.
