Lost souls remains on the ground instead of bounching upward

I've noticed strange thing with the lost souls in Doomsday Engine 14.5, that I've not noticed before: When the lost souls launch themself from a high altitude down to the ground, in the former versions of Doomsday Engine, when they hit the ground, they bounched back upward (Like in Doom 95). Now in the current version of Doomsday Engine (1.14.5), when the lost souls hits the ground during a high speed flying, they remains moving on the ground (like in Doom and Doom2 for DOS).
Why this is happening?
