Ultimate Doom can be what i mean is Doom1 without Ultimate. Or can it be that my .wad file is corrupt?
I tested it with an new install from Doomsday Engine 1.9.0-beta6.7 and an other wad file but i have the problem too.
I'm not sure, maybe it is a problem with the WAD version. Verify you have v1.9 by cross-checking with the MD5/CRC32/etcetera found on this page: http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/DOOM.WAD but I don't know if it really matters.
it must be your doom wad cause mine workes perfictly except for the now texture alinement issue. for example the switch that brings the floor down so you can fight the 2 demon horned beasts when stationary the sewitch it's self is up higher then it's suppose to be and when it lowers it corrects it self.
unfortunatly i do not have an image of it's self correcting

I had no issue with any of these triggers in E1M8 running Beta 6.6 either. The two doors with the Barons Of Hell (or are the red ones Hell Knights?) opened, the star-walls lowered when they died, and the level and end-episode text animation all worked for me in Beta 6.6 and Beta 6.7, with v1.9 of DOOM.WAD (Ultimate Doom).
This texture alignment issue is not present when using the latest DHTP addon for me? EDIT: Sorry Gordon, yes you are right I just checked. I never noticed :-/
This does not appear to be a problem with the IWAD. Can you please double check the version of Doomsday you are using and then try disabling all addons.
i will disable all addons and see what happens and then post the results.
Edit: the addons had no affect it's like this from a fresh install i disabled all addons and it was still like this now i am going to make a test map and see if i can't find the problem.
Edit2: i think it has something to do with the switch tag. I wonder what other textures are screwed up?
Edit3: this happens when a lift or wall is higher then another sector and upon lowering it corrects it's self.
I know the reason for the pegged texture misalignment (a simple miscalculation in the renderer). My post was directed at SkullDrago. Sorry, I should have made that clear.
Interesting. I don't actually own a working copy of the non-ultimate version (I have the floppies but they stopped working years ago) but I'll see what happens with the shareware version.
Ah I think I understand. Snowberry can be a bit daunting, but I assume these addons used a really old format.
Well be sure to check out http://files.dengine.net/ for the latest up to date addons. For the latest Beta 6.7, here's my notes on what works:
jDRP v1.01 works fine, but one Projectile causes massive slowdowns (we still need to update it). Uncheck "Mancubus Fireballs" if DOOM2/Final Doom starts to slow down too much. jDRP v1.1 works fine over-the-top of jDRP 1.01. It has much better models, but it is still incomplete (so use it along with the 1.01 version). jDUI jDoom User Interface pack works fine DHTP Doom Hi-res Texture Pack works fine Dreadus' Shotgun I havn't tested this HQ SFX pack works fine, but I am not sure if the all the sound FX are supposed to be "slow". I like it and keep it enabled though. All the Music addons I havn't tested Episode One skybox I havn't tested Environment effects I havn't tested Slide's DOOM SKY1 skybox
[...] Slide's Final Doom: TNT Evilution SKY3 skybox All these are brand new and should work great. I've only tested DOOM(1) so far though.
The preview pack is what I've used ever since Beta 6 came out, as it is designed for it. I've never used the older 2008 one as there is no point... I don't know why it's called the preview pack though, AFAIK it has everything in it already (apart from the several textures that still need to be made of course). I suppose it's only a preview because the Shinemaps and LightDefs are not finished. If KuriKai spots this post i'm sure i'll find out shortly after
