Sound Choppy

I figured to upgrade DE just because, and when I started a game of Ultimate Doom,
I found out that the sound got choppy, especially the music.
Using Ashley Carr's Doom1 music pack makes it muck more noticeable.
Application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Doomsday\Bin\Doomsday.exe
Created a new 32.0 MB memory volume.

  • have not tested the latest version my self but will give it a try and see if i get the problem you have.

    Edit: just tested and other then a music scare in heretic nothing seems to be choppy. some reason heretic is not loading any music addone that is not in the data/auto folder or where ever you have your addons to auto load if it's in data/music it dose not work.

    Edit 2: what are your ingame sound settings as that might do it?

  • Also consider setting the resampling rate to 11khz (i.e no resampling)?
