Errors

edited 2009 Sep 23 in Technical Support
I went to load my ddengine today, and it kept giving me the error "An error was detected in the configuration file C:\Program Files (x86)\Doomsday\snowberry\conf\addon-paths.conf." So I uninstalled it and reinstalled the newest update, now I get

An error was detected in the configuration file C:\Program Files (x86)\Doomsday\snowberry\conf\addon-paths.conf.

and

Configuration Error

I am currently running on Windows 7 Beta, and I have an HP Pavilion Dv5. The previous version that I uninstalled worked completely fine up until today when I went to load it. ]

Any ideas Doomsday team?

  • Maybe your addon-paths.conf, system.conf, and window.conf have become corrupted for some reason. Try deleting them and see what happens.
  • Unfortunately then I get the error.
