Myriad of game problems - good example wad for developers

Hi,

Been going through my archive of stuff taken from DoomWorld. I've played all of these without issue on gzdoom. Doomsday is another matter. This is not about specific bugs, but general problems I have -
    Buttons/doors/switches not responding to actions Walls appearing invisible Triggers not opening walls/doors or teleporting monsters in etc.

This is a good example wad that has given numerous problems, particularly in later levels. This is for the developers to look at in the longer term, I don't expect answers -

  • The readme suggests that the wad requires a Boom compatible port, to perhaps explain points one and three. Doomsday doesn't support much of Boom, yet.

    Dday reports unclosed sectors on maps 9, 13, 16 and 20 through 29.

    Can you give any specific examples in the maps (i.e a switch that doesn't work or wall that is invisible)?

  • The readme for that wad clearly states that it requires a Boom compatible port.

    As I mentioned above, Doomsday doesn't yet support Boom. Support is slowly being worked on and Dday supports a couple of the lumps etc, but it basically supports none of the generalized linetypes yet.
