How To Enable Cheats in Multiplayer mode

Hi I'm um new here

my question is How do I enable cheat codes when playing co-op on doom,doom2

it keeps giving me

cheat codes disabled on server

how do I change this to allow cheat codes

please help

most common problem is sv_cheats is set to 0 when it needs to be set to 1 to allow cheats now i do not know if dday implements that

On the server, you'll need to set server-game-cheat to 1.
