But if I remove jDRP then WolfenDOOM loads without issue. I've tried this with both jdrp-packaged-20070404 and jdrp101+11a+fixes and both crash.
Anyone know how to make the 2 coexist peacefully?

Comments

  • You can't easily run the two together as both alter the same definitions.
  • Thanks for the reply. I ended up just using my Doomsday 1.13.2 folder and dedicating it to WolfenDOOM. In my 1.14.1 folder with jDRP removed WolfenDOOM would load but didn't have most of the correct textures, sounds etc whereas it works as expected in my 1.9.0b5. I know I could get it working with 1.14.1 but I don't want to have to remove jDRP, run WolfenDOOM, then put jDRP back. It's just easier to have a separate folder.

I know this isn't a solution for people who find this thread later on while searching but it works for me.
  • You could also create a new game profile in the front end so that you don't have to enable/disable addons each time.
  • I don't use the front end. I use batch file menus which I've created over the years. The menus allow me to launch whatever game I wish with just a press of a key or two rather than having to use the mouse and navigating multiple tabs to set desired options.
