Doom savegame bug

I started playing doom 2 in the "Hey not too rough" difficulty where the monsters are not fast. The problem is that when I load a saved game, the monsters are always fast as in "Ultra violence" for example. When I load the very same savegame from the "Switch game..." menu, everything is fine with the monsters' speed but the addons are not loaded. The same situation occurs also in Doom 1.

I use the latest 1208 build.

  • The addon configuration is not recorded in the savegame. This is a long standing known issue which affects the original game(s) also.

    I'll see if I can replicate the issue with activation of fast monsters...
