  • Are you using Beta 6.6? Have you installed the hotfix DED's from the announcement thread?
  • yes i am useing the lastest and did install the hot fix's
  • Does it say the next level you're gonna go through, then all of a sudden it goes into the intermission screen? If so I just ran into that too. I'll submit it as a bug report if your bug is the same as mine.
  • nope it ends like it's ment to end there
  • have you tried it without any addons enabled?

I will try to confirm this aswell in my serpant riders wad.
  • same thing and it dose show the results screen and then the next lvl but then the end happens.

Edit: It seems to be doing that with all the episodes witch is strange and the maps are there and if you warp to them they end as there suppose to.
  • This issue should now be resolved in 1.9.0-beta6.7
  • nope it's still there. I think it has something to do with end lvl recognition but thats what i think.

I can confirm this issue still exists in Beta6.7 in Heretic and also that the map def's are still in the same incorrect order as they were in Beta6.6.
  • The order of the MapInfo definitions in DED files is only relevant when the Copy directive is involved. The definitions were ordered in those files such as they are deliberately, to reduce unnecessary duplication. It shouldn't have any bearing on this.
  • I see. Then what was the point of the hotfix again?

Anyways. When playing Heretic with Beta6.7, I get the ending text both before and after ExM8. It's as if Dday is playing the "after" infine as both "before" and "after".
  • The point of the hotfix was to resolve the problem of every map after E1M8 going straight to the ending on completion. This was my bad. When updating the DEDs prior to the beta6.6 release I simply didn't notice that they were using the Copy directive.
It's as if Dday is playing the "after" infine as both "before" and "after".
That is certainly a possibility. I've not looked into the problem yet so I don't know for sure.
  • Vermil, do you get to play the last map of the episode after the ending text? Because when I'm to start it through the level before it just gives me the ending text and I can't really skip it or something to see if the map starts or not but even if I wait it doesn't start :|
  • No you won't be able to play the map once the episode ending has been shown because the game goes into a "end game" state which can only be left by either starting a new game or ending the game via the menu (at which point the game returns to the title loop).
