  • When I click on the Upload attachment nothing happens. Directions please
  • You shouldn't need to upload an attachment for this -- use the {code} button when submitting a reply and then copy & paste the contents of doomsday.out into your message.
  • Here's the file requested. Thanks for the help.

  • Have you installed over the top of a much older version of Doomsday? (I notice from your log Doomsday is attempting to load a dplay.dll)

Also, you appear to have placed your IWADs in the /Doomsday/modules folder. It would be better to put these in your documents folder (for example) as storing user data alongside the application's data is typically not such a good idea.
  • Updating didn't seem to be a problem in Win 7. Win 8.1 seems to be a problem. Should I uninstall Doomsday Engine and install 1.12 or 1.13 and move the wads into my documents file. Should they be moved to Doomsday Frontend? If so can I put them into a folder called wads.
  • I uninstalled Doomsday completely. I made sure all registry entry's were gone so I could get a clean install of 1.12. Install went well. I placed the Iwads in the snow berry profile folder. This is where I have them on Windows 7. I start up Doomsday engine no problem. When I chose a game to play this is when I get the message doomsday engine stops working. Here's a new copy of Doomsday.out file.
