Problems [loading add-ons] on Mac

Hey guys, looking foward to this, but I have a major problem with doomsday. I already own doom.wad doom2.wad tnt and plutonia all original. But I load the sucefully into doomsday, all seems fine. Untl I start playing, it seems like the original doom, no 3d, dynamic lighting or things like that. So I get into forums and no one seems to have my problem, just im new into this, can't figure out whats wrong with my doomsday, please need help, thank you.

Pd my specs

INTEL Core2Duo 2.66GHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM AT 1333mhz
NVIDIA GEFORCE 9400 w/512vRam
OSX MOUNTAIN LION (10.8.2)
(I can run demanding games at medium-high setting, by the specs I have no problem)

It sounds like you are expecting Doomsday to come with the add-ons for high resolution textures, 3D models, etc..., pre-installed. This is not the case. If you want such things then you will need to install the appropriate add-ons yourself.
