Multipatched texture problems? [Resolved]

Just tried out Build 710, and I've noticed some textures have a black background on them where he shouldn't. Go to E1M1 of doom and look in the courtyard where the Blue Armor is. Look at the lower textures surrounding the nukage and you'll notice something's wrong. You can also encounter this in E1M3, where the toxic signs in the room with the "O" pit (where you can hit the switch to get rid of that pit) have black backgrounds.

  • Thanks for the report. This issue has since been addressed and the fix will be in the next build.

    I am currently in the process of addressing some long standing issues with the interpretation of composite textures as you'll see in the change log.
  • Hm, the texture issue in the E1M1 slime pit was fixed, but the other example I brought up still occurs, with the caution signs in the pit in E1M2 near the end of the game or the toxic pit near the Blue Key in E1M3.
  • Yeah, those cases are caused by a different issue which is yet to be addressed.

    Edit: Fixed for the Doomsday 1.9.10 release.
