Doomsday in Windows 8 error - worked fine in 7 [Resolved]
Greetings,
I had successfully installed DE 1.9.9 in Windows 7 x64. Had a great time with it and my old familiar DOOM & DOOM 2 beasties. Thanks a bunch for resurrecting them.
I've just made the jump to Windows 8 x64 and am immediately confronted with an OpenGL error message. Details below. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I do not recall if I had ever loaded an ATI supplied driver on the Windows 7 load.
