Hexen wont start

i set everything to play hexen on doomsday but it wont work. console shows me that wad file is missing but it's on its place. i have windows vista 64.

  • probably no. file name is as it should be
  • How are you launching Doomsday (if using the frontend, which game profile?) and which version of Hexen are you attempting to play?
  • using frontend- hexen/jhexen profile . it's standard full version
  • Please enable level 1 log verbosity* and then re-run Doomsday. Once at the console quit Doomsday and then post your new log here (you may need to use a service like http://pastebin.com if its too long).

  • It could be that you are attempting to use the 1.0 version of Hexen which Doomsday 1.9.8 does not support. How big is the file? You could either patch it (to 1.1) or update to the latest Doomsday 1.9.9 release candidate which does support this version of Hexen.
