can't fly

Hi , I am new in this field . I cant fly up when i play Doom . I tried to change the keys but its still the same . I am using mac os . Any help will be appreciated

The flight controls are used by Heretic and HeXen with the Wings of Wrath Artefact.

But there is no similar powerup in Doom and hence the flight controls are unused in that game, despite being in the controls menu.

Well, you can give the flight power with the give cheat in the console. So, type give f and you can fly.
