Linux/X11 mouse jitter in 1.9.8

@KuriKai: it fixes it somewhat, but the problem is still present, just not as severe. Tthe mouse feels as if it's been overly smoothed. If you go into the menu (control panel) and move the mouse pointer around, you can see that the "jitter" is still present.

What's the status of this in the latest build (479)?

Any Linux users willing to help me with testing some tweaks to the mouse input code? I still can't test this on a native system, so I can't fine-tune it myself. You will need to compile the engine yourself.
