I do remember some fluids that had smooth animations, if you are talking about those. I hope the texture pack will get some more textures done and maybe they can add more animations to the fluids to make them smoother. It seems that no more updates are being done with textures anymore. Maybe it is just because most attention is focused on engine improvements. Don't know.
