Mouse Movement Extremely Slow

I'm not talking about the turning of the mouse, but when you actually try to move around with the mouse, it is very, very slow. Now, sometimes I strafe with the mouse because I'm too lazy to strafe with the keyboard, and when I try to strafe with the mouse, I hardly move, getting it by an incoming attack. Is there a bad setting that I'm missing or something? Thanks.

Tried increasing the mouse axis sensitivity via the control panel? I've found that to replicate the vanila DOOM control scheme I need to set quite a high level of sensitivity.

Thanks, but when I bump up the sensitivity, my turnspeeds on the mouse go through the roof too. Is there a separate option for that or no?

Sure is. Try changing the value of ctl-turn-speed.
